Couple looking for a job (experienced in working with carriage horses) We are a couple from Poland, both 21-year-old and we are especially looking for a job as housekeepers (with live-in possibilities). We are experienced in working with carriage horses and going with them for the competitions. Last holidays we worked as grooms in Luxembourg and we participated in competitions organized by AFA in France and one time in competition in Belgium. There were four horses carriage. We can do all activities connected with taking care of horses and we really enjoy this job. I can also ride a horse, lunge them etc. What is more Robert can work as a handyman as well. I (Caroline) have experience in working with children, because I am studying psychology, I can keep a house, clean and look after other animals. Robert can carry out a lot of things connected with keeping and maintaining a household. We are both non-smoking students, can speak English at fluent level and have driving licenses. We are outgoing and hard-working. CV’s and photos available upon request. We are looking forward to hearing from you!

I am a professional horse trainer and saddle maker who would like to learn about driving. In the last few weeks I have been contacted by a number of people asking if can find carriages for their pony or horses and help them to get started. I have in the past started horses in harness for the trots but know nothing of refinement in the art of carriage driving and would love the chance to learn from a proper trainer for my own pleasure. Is there a place that I can go to receive instruction? If so where and at what cost? Regards, Arthur

Hi, just wanted to say hello from the UK and say I enjoyed my first visit to your site (thanks to Janice Gorick) and I look forward to many more. Looks like you have some very lively action "down there". I've competed a few times against your Jessica Meredith (pony pairs) and cheered her on at the World Pony Champs at Dorthealyst. If the rest of you drive like her, we'd better watch out! We're just starting our indoor driving season here, as the darker nights close in. Lots of pics from the UK, club and national and international events (Denmark and Warka, Poland) are available for free viewing and download on my husband's site if you want to see what we get up to. See the In Harness site for a link. Write to me! I'd love to publish something about driving in Australia? Thanks, from Fiona, Editor, In Harness magazine

Hi Kathy If you go to the Victorian web site (via Net Links page, Australian Links) you will find all the Victorian Clubs listed. These are down at the bottom of the page under Clubs. There is a club called Pioneer Country based around Swan Hill which would be the closest for you. Sorry I can't reply direct, I can't access your email address.
